I believe that less is more, and whilst animations and gimmicks are nice, they should be subtle and should not interfere with the user experience.
Content Management System
A correctly built website can be handed over to a client to use without involvement once it is built. This means using a CMS (content management system), such as Wordpress. My CMS of choice is Storyblok, it's reasonably priced, easy to use, and has lots of useful features.

Nowadays, Mobile viewing of websites is much higher than on desktop, so it's especially important to have a website which looks and performs great on desktop and mobile. I ensure that this is accounted for all through the development process.
